I admit that I haven't been posting so much recently to the board, but it seems that I now need approval to create new posts. Is this a new setting for the board, or is it just something specific to my own account? It's only a minor inconvenience, but previously there wasn't any approval required for posting.

Strangely, this post didn't require approval and appeared immediately. The post of mine that required approval was made in the circuit simulation category, so maybe that category is configured differently?
I checked the moderation again. Seems the spam filter was turned on. But the filtered words to catch included a comma ( , ) that triggered a false detection, requiring approval. Please try again if you are having trouble posting. - Larry
That's the same screen I got. I had never seen it before.
I've just encountered the same problem.
I tried to post a new receiver project yesterday afternoon in solid state radios.
The web page responded that it needed approval and it just disappeared. Hasn't been heard from since.

It doesn't really bother me so much, but I again noticed that my new post just now in the Circuit simulation category didn't appear immediately and is pending approval before it appears.
I could imagine that requiring approval for new posts might be a deterrent for new users to post. Part of the fun of a discussion board is throwing out ideas, then checking back quickly to see if anybody responded. If new posts require approval, that can dampen the enthusiasm to post by introducing an unknown delay before the post goes live. It might help increase community engagement if the post approval feature could be turned off or only used when necessary.
Strangely, I now find myself also unable to edit my post at https://www.theradioboard.org/forum/main/comment/a34770e7-df06-45d8-9c03-bc8c1fbc9c94?postId=62cd4c7ddec9c100122bee3b . Upon submission, the web page freezes forever at "Publishing...", both on my phone and on my PC.
I'm looking into this today
I have to click the not a robot box, when making a post, but that's the only approval hurdle I'm seeing.
