It is sad news that WTWW has gone off the air. I just recently got back into radio as a hobby, and loved listening to WTWW rock and roll every night, on a 2 transistor regen radio. There really isn't much else out there like it. Seems the cost of running a 100,000 watt station was too much. Something like $15,000 a month, with little profit. it reminded me so much of growing up, and listening to WABC Cousin Bruce on AM. It will be sorely missed.
Here is a well known Youtuber talking about the station. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-Veo-A0dpQ
Beginning tonight at 7:00 pm Eastern, the primary frequency will be 5050 KHz.
Well.
Now 4980 KHz from 5-11 pm central standard time.
Unclear what happened to the move to 5085.
They were broadcasting on 5085 KHz tonight beginning at 0200Z in place of 4980 KHz.
It sounds like this is a permanent frequency change back to 5085 in the 60 meter band and that broadcasting will also continue on 9455 and 15770, and maybe 5950 KHz.

Also transmitting on 4980 KHz the last few evenings.
Not sure if this is a test frequency or may be a permanent addition to the others.
It's aimed at latin / south America but is coming in good in western Arkansas tonight.

Thanks very much W5JAG, I have no idea how large their audience is. The show is great. looks like a schedule from 7 to 11 PM on 9395 and 5950. That would be very cool.
9455 KHz 7 to 10 pm CST until further notice.
Now on both 9455 and 5950 KHz. 5:18 pm CST
Testing on 9395 right now (4:26 PM CST)
They are now on the WRMI program schedule. If I am reading it right:
I see 5950, 9395, and 9455 at various times / days.
Looks like they are working them into the schedule where they have a slot right now, or maybe these are test frequencies.
Look for "WRMI Legends" in the broadcast schedule.

The on air talent and programming that was on 5085, is now in the process of moving to WRMI. If you listen to the internet stream, they are talking about what happened and where it is going.
They were testing for a few hours on 9395 last night. So, it will be back pretty soon, likely within days. I don't think a final frequency has been decided on.
