Hello everyone. If anyone has some old posts from TheRadioBoard to re-upload here, that would be appreciated. I whipped this together and it's not actually live yet. Only in the experimental stage to kick the tires. Welcome in and please have a look around.

More About me Hi everyone,
I set up the WIX forum for The Radio Board folks that wanted to give it a try.
https://lad90000.wixsite.com/radioelectronics
I'd like to introduce myself. Here is my website:
https://www.dibonasystems.com/
Dibonasystems.com (scroll down a bit on this website, you”ll see a link to the Radio Board to prove It's really me)
I have been in IT support for quite some time now. I am a business programmer and integrator. I help small to medium size companies run their Information technology.
I am a member of Rotary and manage this WIX site too:

During the pandemic, I realized that my old passion, hobby electronics, became way more affordable. I quickly discovered TheRadioBoard and used it extensively for my hobby. I didn’t post much because I really didn’t want to muddy up the waters. I think I made one post about shortwave. The site was loaded with great information and I finally got a shortwave radio working on my (real) desktop. I was getting ready to share my projects when Life Happened and I got sidetracked. Then the board just vanished. I felt that it was such a loss, all that info, so I whipped together a WIX forum to see what it would be like. It’s pretty nice. And some of the posts that have started there simply look awesome.
Since I am a premium subscriber to WIX I have been in contact with support to nail down a few issues.
All uploads to forums are scanned for viruses. The anti virus they use is updated every 2 hours.
Links that are posted are multi level scanned and testing for hacking and phishing sites
Storage for forum posts are unlimited
Here is there overall security measure https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-security-measures-overview
I like WIX because it is easy to manage, looks great, and is mobile ready
Additional features can be added to the site, like galleries, or whatever.
The support folks I talked to, liked what they saw so much, they are thinking of signing up. That’s a good sign
Right now, the forum is private, but anyone that sees it here can sign up. I did this to test the water and see what people think. I will pay for the premium site and convert it after a time to allow for input before it goes live. Then I think it will really grow.
More about me:
I am an alumni of Rowan University https://www.rowan.edu/ They have a huge engineering department
I live near Rowan University, and their tech park. I’m sure I can get students and faculty to join the forum.
I was one of the original staff of WGLS 89.7 FM as student manager in the 70’s, which has grown to an award winning college radio station. (Yes, I’m older)
I do Stand Up comedy in the Philadelphia area. It’s fun and a great creative outlet. My son has produced a short film documentary on the comedy scene that is nominated for an award this year from the Philadelphia Independent film festival for best documentary. It is being shown At Punchline Philadelphia on May 19th featuring Gary Sharp, a good friend of mine and comedy buddy.

Well, I hope that helps all of you. Yes, I’m a bit of an Adult Attention Deficit person, because after reading all this, you probably think what the heck is with this guy. But hey, Life doesn’t have to be all work. Have fun.

Folks, there is some underlying problems with a WIX forum that were brought up and verified by WIX support. This forum does not disable deletions. That could be a problem, and sometimes an edit could be lost. Sometimes a captcha may appear to stop or slow the spread of spammers. You may also edit a post, which could be a problem. The upside is there is apparently no limit on storage. If you decide to use this forum, please keep these things in mind, and I would suggest you make a copy of your post before you post it. Right now, it is kind of a private forum. lets see how it goes. I really liked TheRadioBoard, it was a very healthy thing for my brain and my hobby.
It looks terrific! Thanks for creating this!

Hm, one feature I cannot seem to find here on this forum is how to quote the text from someone else. Also, there seems to be no facility to format text (bold, underline, indent, etc.).
(Edit - I figured out how to quote text 😀)
Anyway, you said above:
Here's a ZIP file with some of my favorite threads that I saved from TheRadioBoard last fall. The pages are saved as HTML with images and text. Unzip the file, go into the TRB folder, and click on any HTML file to view it. However, the formatting for the pages was apparently not correctly saved, so the page layout will look very ugly. But you can still read the text and see the schematic diagrams.
There are also 3 PDF files in the ZIP -- two on "hybrid feedback" regenerative receivers, and one on a regenerative antenna.
Here's a list of the threads and articles that I saved in that ZIP file:

Good to hear that you have experience with Wix. Based on your experience, for a site the size of TheRadioBoard -- say, a few hundred members viewing and posting a few images per day -- do you think this amount of usage will fit within the limits of free Wix offering?
Thanks very much for the comment. I use WIX for a couple of my clients and myself. Pretty solid and I don't think it can be hacked much, but the world is a rough place right now. If it get interest, I'll register a name and make it official.
Congratulations on taking the initiative to create a new web forum for TheRadioBoard.
I'm not so familiar with the Wix platform. Do you have a rough idea about the pros and cons of using this platform?
I have some old posts from TheRadioBoard that I saved in HTML format. These are just a few choice threads that I found interesting. I can try to upload a ZIP file later. You will not be able to import these old posts into the new forum. But you will be able to download the ZIP file and read the articles on your PC.
More later!
(Edited) This is a test of editing my post. Also, I uploaded the ZIP file in my post below.
